A medal for protection and safety

A medal of the National Association for Blind Jews in New York, which was given as a token of appreciation to donors for the blindness cause.
Obverse: You can see a drawing of a young Jew who helps an elderly blind jew. On the margin the caption “NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE JEWISH BLIND”.
Reverse: A heart-shaped pattern appears in the center of the coin and around it the caption “HAPPINESS YOU WILL FIND WHEN YOU HELP THE BLIND”.
