Israel – 20 New Shekel 1987 – "With Double Circle" – AU-UNC
The special type of 20 Shekel banknote, you can see on the back of the note above the serial number a red circle with a black dot.
In 1985, following high inflation, it was decided to replace the shekel with the new shekel.
Every 1,000 shekels have become one new shekel to facilitate transactions in the economy.
Observe – Portrait of Moshe Sharett, and below it, in line (readable with magnifying glass) – Names of his seven books,
the status of the Israeli flag raising by Moshe Sharett in the United Nations Building, 1949;
The words "twenty shekels" and "Bank of Israel" in Hebrew.
Reverse – the original building of the Herzliya gymnasium in which Sharet studied,
and in the background – Little Tel Aviv; The words "20 new SHEQALIM" and "Bank of Israel" in Arabic and English.
